Cornwall Retreat, May 2024

Escape with me to the north Cornish coast for three nights, 16th - 19th May 2024. Together we will soak up the fresh ocean air, explore local beaches, swim, and maybe even have a surf! Each day we will enjoy nourishing food prepared by millies dishes and of course practice lots of yoga with me, Sophie.

Our two daily yoga practices will include one dynamic, playful vinyasa or mandala flow, and one deeply relaxing, restorative slow flow. Whether you’re an experienced yogi, who wants to develop your practice or a beginner, this retreat is inclusive of all yoga levels.

Unwind Workshop, Basic Space

The change of season often comes with a shift in our mood, energy, thoughts and feelings. Many of us pass judgment as we move into the softer, slower months, feeling frustrated that we are not as upbeat or as motivated.

Join me for “Unwind” a workshop focused on leaning into softness, working with it and becoming comfortable with shifting our pace to suit the season.

Together we will explore yogic breath, Pranayama, before practicing a deliciously nurturing Hatha-Vinyasa yoga flow. Our time together will come to an end with a guided meditation, Yoga Nidra, and closing relaxation.

In the busy life we lead it’s so important yet sometimes so hard to gift ourselves time to “unwind”. Expect to leave feeling a little lighter and looser with a fresh perspective to enter nature's next chapter.

All levels are welcome so whether you are a seasoned yogi, a total newbie or just out to beat those Sunday scaries I can assure you there's something in there for everyone.

Goodies, snacks and drinks are included in the cost.

Yoga & Supper x Tilda's Table

Our evening together will commence with a 1-hour yoga class with Sophie. Expect to build some heat as we round off the summer with a soft by spicy Hatha-Vinyasa practice. Together we will move and breathe as one to ignite our inner Agni (fire) sparking passion, creativity and self-discovery.

After the class, we will sit back, relax and enjoy a Middle-Eastern feast by Tilda’s table. You will leave feeling light but fulfilled, after enjoying an array of highly aromatic, flavourful and delicious sharing platters.

Tilda Bevan trained at the highly regarded Balleymaloe cookery school over 7 years ago. Since then she has been hot on the hobs working as a professional chef in restaurants all over London and Madrid. These have included Morito, Brunswick House, 40 Maltby Street to name a few! Yoga & Supper x Susie’s Larder

Our evening together will commence with a 1hr yoga class with Sophie, inspired by the element of Air (suitable for all levels). The element of Air focus' on opening the front of the body, particularly the heart space allowing us to welcome in love and kindness for ourselves, others in the space and beyond. We will move and breathe as one to collectively boost our mood and lift our energy to a place of profound positivity.

The class will be followed by a delicious spread whipped up by talented chef, Susie Flory. Susie’s carefully curated menu of "good mood food" is inspired by Mediterranean and Middle Eastern flavours with South-East Asian twists!

To Susie, food has always been about so much more than just eating. She believes it's the perfect daily excuse to spend time with the people we love. Summer Solstice: Yoga & Supper

The Summer Solstice is the longest day of the year, the day the Earth's poles have their maximum tilt toward the Sun.

On the 21st June, the new moon will be in Gemini; the solstice coincides with the sun’s transition into Cancer. Traditional astrological wisdom relates Gemini to the shoulders and Cancer to the chest.

To align with this energy and Mandala methodology, we will practice Air Mandala Yoga focusing on opening the chest & shoulders.

As we move and breathe together 360* around our mats, we will open our heart space and let the solar energies of the summer solstice nourish & support us.

For centuries the Summer Solstice has been celebrated by gathering with friends and family for agricultural abundance-inspired festivities, dancing, bonfires and enjoying delicious food & drink. We will close our evening with a themed seasonal supper, immersed in nature, prepared by natural, vegetarian chef Millie.
